Personal Bio
I started playing games at the age of three when my older brother got the the NES for his 8th birthday. Since than games have been a huge part of my life with me playing them seriously from the age of three to this day. As the younger of two sons I was apparently destined to be the more artistically inclined one. As it turns out things pretty much unfolded that way. I was originally going to goto Pratt university for traditional animation. Though I enjoyed drawing a great deal I still considered the passion to create games greater. After much evaluation with my own life and given the state of the job market for hand drawn animation I decided to switch gears and goto a school focused on game creation. At the time nothing in the NYC area fulfilled that niche, so I went to Full Sail University ( known as Full Sail : Real World Education back then) in Florida.
I have since than taken a huge liking to coding and have applied myself to it's application into creating games. I have been busy with my own projects since graduation and experimenting with different ways to code and design aspects of the game to aid in development time. Overall I love to learn everything I can about programming and have been expanding myself into other languages. I am also an active member of the IGDA, having attended meetings for the Orlando chapter while in school as well as the NYC chapter since I have graduated. I am very much interested in being a part of what is now a fast expanding industry here in NYC! I have attended the GDC in San Fransisco in 2008 as well as being a participant in the Global Game Jam at Columbia University. Most recently I have also become an editor and moderator on the nycgameindustry website!
